Season Twelve
This season is all about spouses…they share their loved one’s story and how it changed their relationships in a multitude of ways.
Episode 1
In episode 1, we listen to the story of Al, Catherine's late husband. We explored aspects of aggravation, hard decisions, and vulnerable topics (we discuss what it feels like to grieve “lightly,” - powerful stuff!)
Episode 2
In episode 2, we are excited to share this week’s guest, Elin with all of you. During our conversation, Elin openly shared her feelings and her confusion as her husband, Larry’s, FTD began to set in.
Episode 3
In episode 3, we welcome Michael as he shares his journey with his wife Maureen. Maureen was diagnosed with FTD after a misdiagnosis of psychiatric disorders and Lewy body Dementia due to her symptoms of hallucinations.
Episode 4
In episode 4, Karen sits down with us and spoke openly, albeit delicately, about the changes she noted in her husband, Doug and how the family roles have shifted and morphed alongside Doug’s disease.
Episode 5
In episode 5, you'll meet Susan and her late wife, Barbara. Susan joined us all the way from Mexico, where we saw her beautiful Milagro wall as she spoke so vulnerably about her love story with Barbara.

In episode 6, Shane tells his story with his late wife, Faye. It’s a beautiful love story of self-preservation, of letting go, of listening to your gut and leaning into that love.

In episode 7, we featured a story of a young couple - Erin and Bob. Erin shares the journey to an FTD diagnosis after many misdiagnoses including young-onset Parkinsons.

In episode 8, we sit with Amy as she shares the enduring love she built with Jeff during his diagnosis of FTD. It’s a story of tenderness and patience, and the long, often winding road to understanding what was really happening.

In episode 9, we sit with Kim as she shares the story of her life with Ike—the love at the center of it all, and the long, complicated road of FTD they’ve walked together. You can feel that love in every moment of this conversation.

In episode 10, we hear your voices—listener-submitted advice, caregiving hacks, and real-life tips that helped you get through the days. The small things, the practical things, the “why didn’t anyone tell me sooner?” kind of things.

In episode 11, Meg shares the story of her husband, Bob. They had known each other since childhood, life brought them back together years later at a high school reunion, where friendship turned into a love story.
Episode 12
In our Season 12 finale, we’re bringing you a conversation especially close to home. We sit down with Maria’s dad, Gary, and his wife, Meg, for a deeply personal conversation about caregiving, grief, and life after loss.
