Bonjour!
It is with a full heart and a deep sense of gratitude that we share our ACCEPTANCE into the Scientific Congress at the ISFTD Conference in France!
We have gained so much knowledge from our 70+ episodes and we are ready to share it beyond our community. The medical and science side of FTD will hear how this disease not only effects the person diagnosed but their entire social and familial circles.
Now that we’ve been accepted, we are DETERMINED to make it to the conference in November!
It is a very significant expense on our small business, so we are bashfully asking for your support. We not only want to make it there, but we also share it all with you… and maybe even conduct some interviews with some new friends.
We want to say that we have been absolutely BLOWN AWAY by the love and excitement you all have shown for this endeavor. It has warmed our hearts… Thank you for all that you do to support Remember Me’s mission… and remember that we do this all for you, your families and always, always for Lia & Frank.
xx R + M

What is ISFTD?
The International Society for Frontotemporal Dementias is a non-profit scientific society focused on frontotemporal dementias. Members include leaders in all areas of FTD research around the world, and the society is associated with a large, international biannual meeting presenting the latest findings. Our next conference is the 13th International Conference on Frontotemporal Dementias and 2nd International Society for Frontotemporal Dementia Congress 2022, which will be held in Lille, France , November 2-5, 2022.
The Mission of ISFTD is to advance the understanding the nervous system and diseases associated with frontotemporal dementias and neurodegeneration, including the part they play in determining behavior;
To bring together scientists from various backgrounds and disciplines;
To facilitate the integration of research directed at all levels of biological organization
To promote education in the neurosciences and inform the general public on the results and implications of current research in neuroscience; and
To promote other activities that will contribute to the development of neuroscience.
All of this info is from the ISFTD website - learn more about this very important Conference that happens every 2 years here.
What is your abstract about?
Great question! Without giving too much away, here is our “State of the Art” or topic of our presentation: There is a profound psychosocial impact on individuals with a family member diagnosed with Frontotemporal Degeneration (FTD).
Who will be there?
We don’t know the full list - but we will definitely be seeing some “Friends of the Podcast” like Dr. Brad Boeve, Dr. Adam Boxer, and more from the ALLFTD Study, our girl Katie Brandt, The Bluefield Project, and more!
