What is art journaling?
What a wonderful question! Art journaling can be so many different things. For my mom, Lia, it was all about using things around the house - old magazines, pictures, fabric, old books, paint and making them into art one page at a time. The point wasn’t to make a masterpeice but to take time out of each day (or week) to use a different part of your brain. Focus on slowing your breath and cutting up scraps and doodling and jotting down a thought or quote that popped into your head. It can also be used as a manifesting tool. For example, at the beginning of 2020, I made this page in my art journal (photo right), and inside that pocket “dreams for 2020” I wrote a note “I want to be known as a global advocate for FTD” - and well, a few months later I met Rachael… and this thing called Remember Me was born :) So what do you say, want to try Art Journaling?!
I hope you’ll join us for this special event! And if you want to learn more about Lia’s art, our family has kept her old blog up for all to see. Visit it here:
